Dear Mrs Zander
Last week we made kites because the letter of the week was Kk and kite starts with K. We also know that Ksharne, Kierra, Kiwi, Kangaroo and Kookaburra start with K. Mrs Duxfield told us that the you said the Kookaburra would wake you up in the morning! Have you seen a Kangaroo in Australia? We all want to know if Ella had a good birthday? We think it's funny that Ella is scared of the Ibis bird. We hope you are having a phenomenal time. We miss you. From Room 9
Hiya Room9 and Mrs Duxfield.
ReplyDeleteIt is very hot over here. We have seen Kangaroos and koalas at the zoo. We have seen lots and lots of lizards. We have also seen a Koala in the wild and a goana. Lots of interesting birds too. At Dreamworld I bought 2 new puppets for the class. Ella was very, very, very spoilt for here birthdays... lots and lots of presents.
I miss you all too.

I just noticed the time that the last comment was posted. It was only 9.03pm as in Queensland we are three hours behind time.
ReplyDeleteHiya Room9 and Mrs Duxfield
ReplyDeleteToday I went to Australia zoo and had the chance to pat lots of animals, including kangaroos, koalas and a snake. Craig took photos so I could show you when I get back. I got another puppet as well.
See you next week

Hey Mrs Zander
ReplyDeletewe have been practising the rockin' around the Christmas tree song. Was it scary when you got to pat the snake? Did the snake like people? Did the Kangaroo bounce? we read a book about lizards because our letter this week is Ll. Is it sunny in Australia? We were very excited to get your post card yesterday. We think the picture of the Kangaroo is fantastic. We look forward to seeing you and pictures next week.

Hiya all
ReplyDeleteYes it was scary patting the snake. It was cold and felt very strong. The snake is one that is used for photoshoots so its a bit like a model. The kangaroo did bounce. It was incredible. Today I went shopping and got lots of new clothes. I'm going shopping again tomorrow. We come home on Saturday. I am looking forward to seeing you all.
